They are made from ceramic fiber, clay, inert fillers and a small amount of organic and/or inorganic binders for increased handling strength. They are a series of high density, rigid board products, suitable for a variety of heat resistant and industrial sealing applications. They are ideal for gasketing applications, refractory backup insulation, parting media, expansion joints, appliance insulation, and molten metal contact because of its high density and compressive resistance.
